Hi, Thank you for contacting us and informed us about that.

Yes, it seems like a Tech Support company has scammed you if they contacted you over the phone, and they were telling you they are “from Microsoft” (because Microsoft doesn’t call their users).

Most of the Tech Support scammer companies start approaching through phone calls and telling “they are from Microsoft”, so please avoid them.

We suggest you to file a chrage back on them. And inform the appropriate govt department about the scam so that they can take action on them.

Yes, our tool is completely free of charge tool, and we don’t authorize anyone to sell our tool. If anyone is selling our tool with their package, it means they are doing fraud. Please provide the company’s detail who gives you ART tool with their package so that we can also take appropriate action on them.

    Again thanks for informing us.

    Thanks

If you have purchased the Trend Micro Antivirus subscription, then you must get an email where the Tren Micro license key is mentioned. You simply need to copy that license key and paste to registration section in Tren Micro Antivirus.

Following folders should be backed up

Hi, We’ll help you fix this issue.

Could you please provide the whole error message text that you are getting?

To fix this issue, you have to find out the root cause of the problem first. The Microsoft Windows OS saves all the logs what happens on a computer. Every record has detailed information. So eventually, we need to find out that log record when the error message occurs.

What you need to do is note down the exact time when the error message appears. Then open “Event Viewer” and find out that time occurred error logs from there. The log should mention the “faulty” file name and its path. You should uninstall that file’s associated program from your computer to fix the issue. If the file is associated with the Microsoft system files then you can share the log’s information with us, we’ll suggest you accordingly.

We have made an article where we have mentioned the same thing in its method 8. The article is much similar to your problem (Windows Explorer has stopped working.)  You can try this as well. Article: How to fix Windows explorer stopped working.
