installed google chrome didn’t want it no more so I uninstalled it but all the files and folder still existed on my c drive I cant get rid of it can you help me out

may i know which fix to download. my problem is when i click on open with, and choose program on any kind of files i get a message about file association and ask to go to control panel to change it. thanks.
Basically, two main file associations are on the target of viruses “.EXE & .LNK”. You should download at least these two and then merge them into registry and then reboot your computer, your issue will be solved surely.

The Win 7 .inf file fix .zip folder says it is empty when I try to extract it. Is there another link available? Everything else works great thanks for that!

Actually, all the shortcuts icons have changed their association with “Picture viewer”. so you need to set as default .lnk (Shortcut) association setting from registry. please perform my following steps.

Step1 :- Please download .LNK registry fix e from this link, as per your operating system. .LNK Fix Windos XP ——- .LNK Fix for Windows 7
Step2:- open that zip file and then double-click on .REG file. and allow all the prompts.
Step 3:- Then reboot your computer once.
That’s it, Your issue will be solved. Please revert if doesn’t fix the issue.
