I have a qhm150 Wi-Fi dongle, installed the drivers from the quantum website.

The software ran smoothly but the problem I am facing is when I try to open the MediaTek software then it doesn’t open.

I cannot install the drivers from the CD provided as I have removed the DVD drive from my laptop (SSD caddy is installed there).

So, I need to know what I can do to solve the problem.

Drivers should be installed properly. No matter its software has been installed or not. You can easily connect your Wi-Fi network even if you don’t install its software. So, we suggest you to please install its drivers only. Don’t use software to connect, use windows default method to connect to the internet.

Try following steps.

1. Uninstall the currently installed drives.
2. Download this driver from here.
3. Right-click on the downloaded file and choose the option “Run as administrator“

If the above trick doesn’t work for you, then we suggest you install the driver manually.
