Is it possible to block a website in google chrome? If yes, please direct me how?
Sometimes there are some websites you just plain don’t want to visit. Sometimes, you do not want your children to stumble upon something on the Internet that wouldn’t be healthy for them. Sometimes you need to prevent your browser from redirecting you to phising sites, or other dangerous sites. For this purposes blocking websites is really useful !
If you are wondering if is it possible to block a website in google chrome, yes it is ! It is actually quite simple as well: you just need to download an add-on for your browser that allows you to block websites such as “block site“; whenever you find one you like simply click “add extension” and it will be added automatically (you will be able to see it in the right side of your browser under the “close” and “minimize” buttons).
Once you have it installed simply visit the website you want to block, click on the add-on icon and click “block website” !
