I brought a new dell laptop with Windows 10 64bit OS, but my printer do not have software for Windows 10 64bit. The printer is supported only Windows 3bit, so how do I install 32 bit software on 64 bit on my windows 10 PC?
Windows 10 64 bit is capable of installing both 64 & 32 bit software programs. When developing an app, a developers ensures that their program can run in both 64 and 32 bit programs by doing additional work while writing the code. This will enable the program to be installed in many systems and being able to run smoothly.
Most programs are maintained as 32 bit to make coding much easier and able to run smoothly in both architectures normally saved as program files for 64 bit & program files (x86) for 32 bit programs. To proof this, open the Task manager by right-clicking task bar and selecting task manager and scrolling down to see the installed apps. You will notice that most apps installed are 32 bit and runs smoothly. The only thing you should know is that 32 bit windows versions will not run 64 bit programs.
