I just installed a hp laserjet 5100 to my pc using Windows 7 Professional. I successfully printed a test page but can’t print a document from Illustrator program. I went to the device manager and it shows that the printer is ready but there are not documents in the que.
Make sure your printer HP 5100 is the default printer when you print from Illustrator. Maybe there is some problem in Illustrator software – Maybe it will fix after Illustrator reinstall. Also try to print a document from world or notepad to make sure that your printer is working fine with other software.
