Steps:-

Click on Start, click Run, type there cmd, and then click OK.

3. Restart the computer now
4. Again click Start, click on Run, type there cmd, and then click OK.
5. type following command line into run box and press enter (See Screenshot Below)
Netsh firewall reset


6. Then click on Start again and click on Run and type there firewall.cpl, one dialog box will come up and asking for run a service related firewall, so
please click on YES or OK.

7. Restart your computer now.

Most certainly it’s working fine, if any how the problem  persist then follow these more steps here.

8. Please Download that file for XP Sharedaccess_for_xp_sp2.zip and merge it into registry, Just double click on that file and run it.

3. Restart the computer now
4. Again click Start, click Run, type there cmd, and then click OK.
5. type following command line into run box and press enter.
  • regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\atl.dll
  • regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\hnetcfg.dll
  • Netsh firewall reset
  • netsh firewall opmode enable
  • netsh firewall opmode disable
Finally do restart your computer and get you firewall fix.

That’s it, your problem definitely resolved.

  10. Sorry, but it didn’t work, my friend!! I thought this was supposed to have something to do with Windows Vista; NOT Windows XP!! At least that’s what the thumbnail in Google said, before I clicked on it! My God; XP is so old, anyway!!
